This mountain trail has a medium difficulty. The tour begins at a gate located at the end of the road that crosses the Andorra Valley, 8 kilometers from the center of the city of Ushuaia. After passing this gate, we enter firm ground, surrounded by a green ñire forest. After about 500 meters, we crossed the first peat bog, which is usually very waterlogged in the fall season, so waterproof footwear is required to cross it. After about 2 kilometers, the bridge over the Grande Creek must be crossed. Once on the other bank, the trail starts to go uphill, crossing a thick forest of ñire, lenga and guindo. In autumn, the lenga and ñire trees change color, which gives the trail a fascinating atmosphere of reds, yellows and greens.
When we get to the fork of Laguna Encantada and Laguna de los Témpanos, we must go towards Los Témpanos. After 500 meters we will find another signposted fork, and we will take the one that leads to the Mirador del Valle. From there the route is approximately 1-kilometer-long, with little difficulty and without too many slopes. On the way, you must cross a stream and the Vinciguerra stream, both with rustic trunk bridges. Finally, you will arrive to the Mirador del Valle de Andorra, where you can appreciate the incomparable beauty of this Ramsar Site, composed of extensive peat bogs, native forests, watercourses and the imposing chain of the Andes.
