Cabo Domingo
A few kilometers south of the city of Rio Grande, traveling along National Route 3, you reach Cape Domingo, which rises imposingly over the Atlantic coast. With a height of approximately 100 meters above sea level, this ochre-colored cliff is an excellent panoramic point to enjoy the views of the waves, the wild birds and the sunlight on the horizon. In this place there is an old lighthouse of six meters high, built by the Argentine Navy and put into service in January 1933.
You can access the top of the Cape by a path that starts at the parking lot, or take the road that leads to the coast and contemplate the cliff from the beach.
Cabo Peñas
Located in the extreme southeast, 15 kilometers from the city of Rio Grande is Cape Peñas, which has a height of 30 meters.This place is ideal for watching marine fauna and walking along its rocky shores. To get to the Cape you must walk through the beach, since the road that leads to the top is in private property.
